Admission Information

Admission to the university is based on merit only, which is determined either its own admission test or an equivalent test conduct by a reputable organization NTS. There are no quotas, reserve seats or admission through donations. Moreover, there is no age limit for the applicants.

Admission Material

The admission package includes a copy of the Prospectus. The admission application form is available on the university web site www.fuuast.edu.pk Or can purchased from the following banks:

• UBL Bank o Pakistan, Gulshan-e-iqbal Branch, Karachi.
• Allied Bank of Pakistan Baba-e-Urdu road Branch, Karachi
• Askari Bank limited, bohra Pir Branch, Karachi.

Admission Procedure

Online Method:

• The Admission  Application Form can be filled online by following the instruction
• The online system assign a unique Application Reference Number (ARN) to each applicant, which must be noted for each applicant which must be noted for later use.

Traditional Method:

• The admission  application form can be downloaded and printed(on a white paper)
• The admission  application form is available in Prospectus can be filled using either BULE or  BLACK ball pen.

If test is required for the program. The applicant should visit the relevant department. Where the admission test is to be taken, along with the following:

• Two recently taken color  photograph (1.0x1.5 inches)
• A powder copy of Marks sheet is required for admission. Do not submit any other document with application.
• Application Processing fee f Rs 700 is payable  for each type of admission Test. For example ,for  the BBA and the BS(CS) tests, or for taking the M.Sc.(Computer Science) and MBA tests.

Upon payment Application Processing fee the applicant shall receive a dully sighed ADMIT CARD bearing the applicant’s TEST ROOL NUMBER, test date and venue.

Selection is based on applicant’s performance in Admission Test. Candidates have to pass Entry test with 50% marks.

Use of calculator is not allowed in the test.

Announcement of Selected Applicants & Completion of Admission

The selected candidate should check the status of their admission from the university website or notice board of relevant Campus.

A merit list from Successful Candidates, in Entry test will be prepared based on the marks sheets of the students for admission. The following documents must be submitted to complete the admission procedure:

• A  powder copy of marks sheet of Intermediate 1st and 2nd year. For masters program, submit a powder copy of Bachelors Marks sheet, part 1 and 2 respectively.
• Copy of CNIC FORM-B. issued by NADRA (National Database Registration Authority).
• An attested copy of the Matric and HSC Certificates. The Students, who have passed their O-levels and A-levels exams, must give an attested copy of their O and A levels Marks sheet. (Every student will have to show the Original Certificate / Marks Sheet at the time of admission).
• Four attested 1.0x1.5 inches photographs. All photographs must be attested on the backside of the photograph.
• An original Judicial Stamp paper must be submitted to the University after admission.
• An original Migration Certificate if required.
