The department of pharmaceutical sciences was introduced after the two months of the establishment of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences & Technology (12 Nov 2002). The curriculum comprises of all the courses approved by pharmacy council of Pakistan. This department was previously offering B. Pharm MBA degree programme; that has now been converted in to the degree of Pharm D by pharmacy council with the addition of some courses. Presently department comprises of two assistant professor and four lecturers. From Feb. 15, 2005, the department has also started Pharm D evening programme. In morning programme, there are 200 students in first year and 45 in second year, whereas first year evening consists of 95 students.
